My name is Bliss, which is a name that was given to me many years ago by friends and family. I have enjoyed creating and preparing food from many styles and cultures for years. One day it just came to me that I wanted to bring the world of Bliss to my food. Do you remember when you were growing up and your parents would say "Stop playing with your food!"? Well, I never stopped! Also, the reason Wunders is spelled with a U is because I have so much FUN bringing bit of my culinary delights to your palate. Bon Appetit', my friends. Namaste, whoooooosh. For my traditional chocolate truffles, I start with the finest kosher organic Colombian Cordillera dark, semi-dark, milk and white chocolate from Compañia Nacional de Chocolates, mix in organic heavy cream, organic butter, and add either hand made fruit purees created from organic fruit and cane juice, nuts, or espresso to produce the finest chocolate truffles that can be found anywhere.
Every variety of truffle that I make can also be prepared in a non-dairy, or vegan, version. I use coconut cream to replace the heavy cream and Earth Balance buttery blend as my butter substitute. There is no true difference in flavor when deciding between dairy or non-dairy as coconut cream is a nicely neutral flavor allowing the chocolate and other ingredients to shine through.
